About
I am a Certified Consulting Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, an international body based in the U.S. i also have a Masters Degree in Sociology from McMaster University with an emphasis on Social Psychology. My perspective is heavily influenced by 20 years of study with disciples of a Tibetan Lama and a Tao Master. I also had the honour of studying with a native Shaman from Northern B.C.

Lesson on fearlessness and trust.
On one of our excursions , we visited a sanctuary for big cats. They were housed in large pens and tourists could pay for a walk with them in their enclosures. These cats were not sedated. In one pen the handler asked if anyone wanted a picture with the cat. I decided to trust and be fearless. By the way, the cat is not sleeping.

Our bodies are energy systems and when these systems are disrupted or depleted by negative emotions and thoughts, emotional issues and illness can occur. Hence the need to learn to manage thoughts and emotions. This can be difficult because humans are taught certain beliefs which influence their thoughts, perspectives and emotional responses to situations.With guidance, individuals can release deep seated beliefs, negative emotions and blockages which could have negatively impacted cell frequency and suppresed the immune system.

There are times when I am asked to do exercises by my teacher Jaylee Balch, that seem daunting or overwhelming. I don’t even know where to begin. Her response is this,“How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.”At first I thought, well I am not eating an elephant, I am trying to explore something about myself that needs to change. How can I possibly change something I have been thinking or doing or feeling most of my life? Ah, the light goes on. I do it bit by bit until there is nothing left of the thought, belief, perspective that is no longer serving me.
